"You also have the right to be supported." This is one of the phrases I often tell myself, as I always like to be there for others, which often leads me to neglect my own need for support. I consider myself a loyal and honest person. I greatly enjoy reading, watching series, and spending time with my husband, my dogs, my friends, and my family.
In the first session, we will begin to establish a therapeutic relationship. The most important thing for me is that you feel validated and safe so that you can express yourself freely. In this session, I will explain my approach and what we will work on in future sessions. We will also discuss what led you to seek psychological counseling and set some initial goals.
My therapeutic approach is based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). This approach seeks to determine the relationship between a situation or stimulus and the thoughts and actions I direct in response to them. I work with the latest CBT therapies, considering that the fundamental element is the environment, and we work from that perspective.
