In the first session, I aim for us to get to know each other and to introduce how I work. We will discuss the reasons that bring you to therapy and identify some goals that we will consider for the process, as well as the next steps. The idea is for you to feel comfortable with me and the goals we plan so that we can start the process together.

My therapeutic approach is cognitive-behavioral, which focuses on understanding how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact with each other, and the impact of how we perceive and what happens daily. I use interventions that have been shown to be effective. I emphasize teamwork and active participation throughout the process.
